Well, we finally took Serena's senior photos! I chose a park in Gilbert that has some great scenery and plenty of shade. The whole shoot took about an hour.

I feel a photograph made where you live means more than any 12' x 12' room with a curtain, although I have been known to use a curtain from time to time. I love natural light. Windows, lamps, even outside under the tree are my favorite ways to photograph people.
